Sam Alen is an Associate Attorney within Lloyd & Mousilli’s trademark division.

Before joining Lloyd & Mousilli, Sam worked with multiple boutique law firms assisting clients across a wide range of industries—technology education, finance, career coaching, medical transport, pet services, and cannabis—in prosecuting trademarks.

While at Suffolk University Law School, Sam served as a Certified Student Attorney with Rachael Dickson's Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he successfully registered multiple trademarks for small businesses, some of which were founded by current Suffolk University undergraduates-turned-entrepreneurs. Sam was a senior editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and published his advocating for legislative antitrust reform to combat big tech monopolies.

As an undergraduate at the University of Rochester, Sam co-taught an advanced digital imaging class and developed a new method for enhancing multispectral images of medieval manuscripts in Photoshop that has since been added to the curriculum.

Sam earned a bachelors degree with honors in leadership studies from the University of Rochester in 2019 and his law degree with honors and a concentration in business law and financial services from Suffolk University Law School in 2023. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
