With over five decades of legal expertise, Mr. Shibley stands as a seasoned advocate in the realm of trial law. Mr. Shibley specializes in a diverse array of practice areas, including commercial litigation, Federal and Longshore workers compensation,  entertainment, and intellectual property law.

Representative matters for Mr. Shibley include being co-counsel on Columbia Pictures v. Krypton Broadcasting; being involved from the initial district court case, the appellate work and taking the case to trial after being remanded from the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Shibley obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Stanford University, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence and multidisciplinary knowledge. Mr. Shibley's legal journey began at the University of Texas School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1972. He was admitted to the California bar in 1973.

He has held leadership positions in organizations such as the Long Beach Barristers Club, the American Bar Association, and the Arab American Lawyers of Los Angeles, where he served as President for nearly a decade. In addition to his legal practice, Shibley is an avid photographer, private pilot, and computer programmer.
